(of a person or their behavior) brave; heroic.
To be gallant is to be brave, courageous, valiant, valorous, bold, plucky, daring, fearless, intrepid, heroic, lion-hearted, stouthearted, doughty, mettlesome, dauntless, undaunted, unflinching, and unafraid.
I first heard about GallantFew when Leo Jenkins and Marty Skovlund ventured across the world raising awareness about Veteran transition issues and how GallantFew assists in that transition. That was before my time of working within the Veteran community and I knew that I needed to get involved. I wanted to be part of those gallant few. The few that put actions to words, that live life on purpose, that live their creed and mentor others to do the same. These gallant few provide an all circumferencing mentorship that touches on the physical, professional, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of day to day life. These aspects of GallantFew bridge the gap between the civilian and military divide as hardships happen in everyone’s life. Knowing that GallantFew is serving this community of men and women that have sacrificed so much as they transition out into civilian life is powerful beyond words. I am proud to serve with them. Through GallantFew I have made lifelong mentors who make this world a better place day in and day out. They are brave, they are bold and they are fearless in their pursuit of happiness and heroic in assisting others to do the same.
I am GallantFew.
