I’m a Navy veteran who realized how much I missed being a part of a tribe. I was lucky enough to regain some of that camaraderie through Veteran groups in social media. I first heard about GallantFew when Article 15 Clothing was carrying out a fundraiser and Vincent Vargas chose this organization as his charity. After doing some research, I began referring veterans who were feeling low and seemed down on their luck to GallantFew because I appreciated their mentoring program.
I participated in Run Ranger Run for the first time last year and enjoyed the team aspect as well as motivation for personal goals all while raising money for a wonderful cause. It was through Run Ranger Run that I was introduced to The Raider Project and I utilized the virtual swag bag to obtain a seat at their Military Transition Seminar this year.
That path made me realize how much GallantFew is reaching out and doing the work that needs to be done in the Veteran community. They focus on continuing to move, learn and grow. The representatives are real and honest and make connections. I’ve met some amazing people that I looked up to before and I know that I can count on now.
I’m so proud to be a part of an organization that is truly paving the way and creating a model of how veterans’ groups should operate.
